Warranty
and Support

2 years on the chassis. 6 months on motor and electronics. Parts in Lancashire. When something breaks, you contact us and we deal with it.

Coverage

What is covered

MemTrex Standard and Pro products carry two warranty periods covering different components. The chassis warranty covers 2 years from date of purchase and applies to structural components: the main chassis frame, suspension arms, shock absorber bodies, wheel hubs, and the metal middle drive shaft. The motor and electronics warranty covers 6 months from date of purchase and applies to the motor (brushed or brushless depending on model), electronic speed controller (ESC), receiver unit, transmitter, and servo. Both warranty periods require proof of purchase — your MemTrex order confirmation email is sufficient. The warranty is valid for the original purchaser and is not transferable. MemTrex products must have been purchased directly from memtrex.co.uk to be covered.

Exclusions

What is not covered

Consumable parts
Tyres, wheel foam inserts, shock fluid, O-rings, diff fluid. These are wear items available to order from the MemTrex spares page.
Crash damage
Impact damage to chassis, electronics, or body resulting from collisions is not a manufacturing defect. Replacement parts for crash damage are stocked and available to purchase.
Water damage beyond specification
The Standard is not rated for water exposure; the Pro has splash protection. Neither product should be submerged.
Third-party modifications
Fitting non-MemTrex parts or aftermarket electronics voids the warranty on affected components.
Battery damage
LiPo batteries are not covered by warranty — they are a consumable item with safety-critical handling requirements.
Normal wear
Differential gear wear, bearing wear, and motor brush wear over extended use are expected and not covered as defects.

Is the MemTrex warranty UK only?
Yes. The warranty applies to products purchased directly from memtrex.co.uk and delivered to UK addresses. Products from marketplace sellers or resellers are not covered by MemTrex warranty — they are covered by the UK Consumer Rights Act through the reseller.
What happens if my motor burns out within 6 months?
Motor failure under normal use within 6 months of purchase is covered under the electronics warranty. Contact support with your order number and a brief description. Motor failure resulting from running incompatible battery voltages (for example, using a 3S battery in the Standard) is excluded.
Can I claim warranty if I bought from a third-party?
No. MemTrex warranty applies only to purchases made directly from memtrex.co.uk. Third-party purchases are covered by the UK Consumer Rights Act provisions through the reseller. UK Consumer Rights Act 2015: legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2015/15.
What if my car breaks after the warranty expires?
MemTrex spares are available for all components for a minimum of 3 years from product launch. Out-of-warranty parts are available at listed prices. We also offer paid repair assessment for complex faults — contact support for details.
